Bourjois rosewater sprinkler
Beautiful patterned glass bottle by Bourjois, clad in detailed brass. The threaded brass spout is removable allowing the bottle to be filled. The bottle is signed Bourjois on the bottom. Circa early 1900's.
The custom of welcoming guests with a sprinkle of rosewater originated in Persia and was adopted by Europeans in India.
