Antique Japanese incense burner
Beautiful moriage porcelain Japanese censer The six sides depict the immortal ones, with a gold halo around the woman. The 3 legs are painted with gold, as is the very top, the top rim and several spots throughout the painting.
The characters on the bottom read Dai Nippon, which translates to Great Japan. This dates it to the Meiji period, from 1868-1912.
Very nice condition with slight wear to the gold on the top rim, no cracks, chip or repairs.
