Chinese piano babies

Adorable vintage piano babies. Hand painted and signed porcelain, with beautiful detail on their faces and flowered tunics with gold leaf accents. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. Shawls were once used as decor and protection for the top of a piano, and piano babies were used to hold the shawl in place! This set is circa 1930-1940.
