Beautifully detailed, decorative porcelain teapot. A darker blue band encircles the sides and top, with a turquoise colored band around the base, and a light crackle glaze. Both sides have a medallion depicting a group of geishas. The gold glazed spout and handle are made to look like bamboo. Signed Made in China, Satsuma and 4 characters. There is a stray smudge of gold glaze on the white top rim (see photo). Very nice condition, with no chips or cracks. The inside is not fully glazed, as this is meant to be decorative.
